PHUMUZILE NCUBE

Phumuzile was born and grew up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. At 21, Phumuzile moved to South Africa and worked in the construction and hospitality industries. In May 2009 he joined Sunway Safaris to learn more about his love and passion for wildlife and nature. Phumuzile revels in the beauty of nature at every opportunity that he gets and grows more with each outing to the bush. His spare time, Phumuzile loves supporting local football.

SOUTH AFRICA RAINBOW ROUTE & CAPE TO VICTORIA FALLS:

On the 14 th July 2018, my wife and I commenced tour SA a 17 then CV a 21 from Johannesburg . We were treated to a magnificent experience. The first tour had just four participants whilst the second had a full load of twelve. I am writing to express our admiration for our two guides , Phumi and Farai . Your company is blest to have two guides that not only made us enjoy our trip so much, but kept us safe, fully entertained, well fed, and on top of that their shared knowledge about the wildlife and local environment was extraordinary. No request was ever too much for them , and both guides went out of their way to enhance our safaris.
During the course of the journey , Denise and I were treated to many in - depth discussions about the daily lives of the people , the difficulties they face, the cultural issues that exist in all the countries we visited. Their intelligence and empathy was a credit to them and we respected their thoughtful ideas that widened our views and made us curious to know more. The effort spent to make game drives successful was awesome . We spent many hours appreciating the habits of the animals and the vast knowledge the two guides imparted about animal behaviour expanded our knowledge and awareness of wildlife and the issues round their continued survival in the future.
Sunway is fortunate to have such dedicated guides , they are a real asset to your company. Thank you for making our two expeditions unforgettable.

CAPE TO VICTORIA FALLS: I'm just back home from the Cape Town to Vic Falls-Tour. For me it was the fourth time visiting Africa and I had an absolutely amazing time! We saw so many different landscapes, had so exciting adventures, the itinary is very versatile and the accomodations were mostly very good. I will never forget our 2 days and nights in the Okavango Delta, it was an Once-in-a-lifetime-experience. Our Guides Phumi and Tanaka were great, especially Phumi is so knowledgeable about everything and very professional and helpful. He made this tour something very special. BOTSWANA WILD PARKS: The holiday was very well run by the local operator Sunway Safaris. Their 2 guides Phumi and Paul were just superb!! The meals they prepared were always excellent and they were continuously anxious to ensure we had a brilliant experience. The first 2 days consisted of a lot of driving of which Phumi did a great job. The highlight of the tour was the Okavango Delta – what a beautiful place!! The camping there was very comfortable and all the other accommodations was excellent. One must mention the people of the area – so friendly, happy to chat and talk about their lives. The local guides were of variable quality, but not as good as our own 2 guides who usually knew much more than they did about the animal we were seeing. Our guide in Moremi and Chobe were excellent. Finally to the animals – exciting encounters with such beautiful animals, sometimes at very close range was just so amazing!!!" John, Sudbury
